June the 13nth: Lange Nacht der Kultur in Bautzen – Bautzen’s long night of culture 2015.
This year the Serbski muzej offers during Bautzen’s long night of culture a programme with reference to the temporarily exhibition „Karl Vouk. Satkula or The created landscape.“
The artist himself is present in the museum and offers a guided tour through his own exhibition at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The highlight of the evening starting at half past 8 is the performance of the „Requiem für Mato Starik [Requiem for Mato Starik]“. Based on the text of Dr. Toni Bruk, this literary concert deals with the fate of an individual, that has to face an inevitable loss of his familiar environment because of the progressing open cast mining towards his home.
For these, not solely hungry for culture, the museum provides an offer of snacks and beverages during the evening.
